Medical Director – Moses Lake, WA

Maverick.MD is working with a growing physician group to hire a full-time Medical Director for its post-acute practice in Moses Lake, Washington.

This is a physician leadership role across skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. You'll round in person during daytime hours, while also directing the clinical team, guiding quality initiatives, and partnering with facility leaders. It's a balanced mix of hands-on patient care and medical leadership in a close-knit community setting.

What you'll do

• Serve as medical director for post-acute facilities in the Moses Lake area, setting the clinical tone
• Round in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities on a steady weekday schedule
• Oversee physicians and advanced practice clinicians practicing in your buildings
• Partner with nursing directors, therapists, and facility administrators on care standards
• Lead care transitions, admissions reviews, and discharge planning for your patient population
• Champion quality and safety programs that lift outcomes across the facilities

Qualifications

• MD or DO with a Washington medical license or the ability to obtain one
• Background in post-acute, skilled nursing, or long-term care medicine
• Prior leadership or medical director experience a plus
• Strong communicator who builds trust with teams and families alike
• No unresolved disciplinary issues

Compensation

~$225,000-275,000 with unlimited bonus potential
