Post-Acute Care Physician – Corpus Christi, TX

Maverick.MD is recruiting for a growing physician group seeking a full-time physician for its post-acute care team in Corpus Christi, Texas.

You will care for patients across local skilled nursing facilities five days a week, providing steady continuity for a varied patient population, with the independence of a practice-style role and the backing of an experienced clinical team.

What you'll do

• Perform thorough evaluations of patients
• Partner with facility nurses, advanced practice clinicians, and care teams
• Oversee admissions, discharges, and care transitions
• Keep clinical documentation accurate and up to date

Compensation

• ~$220,000- 260,000 base salary with unlimited bonus potential

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active Texas medical license and DEA registration
• Background in primary care, such as family medicine or internal medicine
• Clear communicator who collaborates well with a team
• No unresolved disciplinary issues
