Post-Acute Care Physician – Knoxville, TN

Maverick.MD is recruiting for a growing physician group seeking a full-time physician for its post-acute care team in Knoxville, Tennessee.

You will care for patients across local skilled nursing facilities five days a week, providing steady continuity for a varied patient population, with the independence of a practice-style role and the backing of an experienced clinical team.

What you'll do

• Perform thorough evaluations of patients, including medical histories and physical examinations
• Create and refine personalized treatment plans based on each patient's needs
• Partner with facility nurses, advanced practice clinicians, and care teams
• Oversee admissions, discharges, and care transitions
• Keep clinical documentation accurate and up to date

Compensation

• $240,000 - $285,000+ with unlimited bonus potential

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active Tennessee medical license and DEA registration
• Background in primary care, such as family medicine or internal medicine
• Clear communicator who collaborates well with a team
• No unresolved disciplinary issues
