Post-Acute Care Physician – Middletown, DE

Maverick.MD is recruiting for a growing physician group seeking a full-time physician for its post-acute care team in Middletown, Delaware.

You'll round five days per week in skilled nursing facilities, delivering continuity of care to a diverse patient population, with the autonomy of a practice-based role and the support of an experienced clinical team.

What you'll do

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs

• Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes

• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in a team approach

• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies

• Maintain accurate, timely medical records

Compensation

Estimated total annual compensation of ~$210,000-$270,000 (fee for service, no cap on productivity)

Qualifications

• Current physician license (State of Delaware) and DEA

• Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred, but not required; new grads welcome to apply

• Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook

• No unresolved disciplinary issues.
