Post-Acute Care Physician – Tucson, AZ

Maverick.MD is recruiting for a growing physician group seeking a full-time physician for its post-acute care team in Tucson, Arizona.

You'll round five days per week in skilled nursing facilities, delivering continuity of care to a diverse patient population, with the autonomy of a practice-based role and the support of an experienced clinical team.

What you'll do

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including histories and physical exams
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs
• Coordinate with nursing staff, advanced practice clinicians, and facility teams
• Manage admissions, discharges, and transitions of care
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation

Compensation

• Estimated annual compensation of ~$270,000-$300,000, with no cap on productivity income

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active Arizona medical license and DEA registration
• Primary care background (family medicine or internal medicine)
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
• No unresolved disciplinary issues
